Eduringly shed weight

Emotions mainly drive overeating. Most diets throughout history have miserably failed because they don’t treat the relationship with food. They only change the result, just the result.

Here are five tips that will help you be in shape:

1. Your words matter; tell your brain a helpful lie

Change the words coming out of your mouth before changing what comes in your mouth. Stop saying these:

“I am fat”

“I look like a cow”

“I starve for cake”, or

“I have a weakness toward sweets”.

The words create pictures in your mind, and pictures have the power to manifest and become a reality. The good news here is that we can change our wording and pictures in our minds because the mind reacts impeccably to the words and pictures. Every time you say, “I can’t leave the chips or biscuits, ” you enforce it in your brain and train your brain to resist leaving it.

2. Activate your ‘Power of Choice’

Say, “I am choosing to eat that”, instead of, “I can’t eat that”, or “I shouldn’t eat that”. This way, you give your brain a message that you freely and happily choose. Our brain responds to what makes us happy. By choosing, you allow yourself to feel the power of being selective. Choose to control not to be controlled by food. Eat like a star; eat like a queen.

3. Visualize

Visualize yourself in the shape and weight you always wanted. The more you visualize, the more it becomes true. Because the new picture becomes familiar, and our brain likes what is familiar and pushes us away from what is unfamiliar. Be consistent and train your brain on what serves your goal

4. Talk to your metabolism system

Your metabolism system will work flawlessly if your subconscious mind believes that. The words create a picture, so say to yourself:

“My metabolism works perfectly”, and imagine that it is burning all the unwanted fat.

5. Eat with two stops

Always remember that food is just fuel for the body. Eat only what is food and what was created to be eaten by the human being in just the needed quantity. The first stop is before eating, look at the food and think. If you need a lab to create it instead of a kitchen, stop and retain from eating it. You are not a consumer machine. The second stop is when you feel full; remember that your stomach is not a waste bin, and train yourself to keep a leftover on your plate.

One of the keys to reducing weight is changing the relationship between food and eating habits, but it will never be enough unless you change your thinking habits, beliefs, and words.
